Target Audience: Confirmation Candidates
At baptism we become illuminated by God's light inside of us. This light resembles God's love for mankind and the intimacy that he shares with us. We keep this light close to our hearts. As we move through life we may experience situations, relationships etc. which move us away from the light that God has implanted in us, and we move towards emptiness and darkness. As we move away the light becomes dim. Jesus knew that this would be our condition, so he left us the Holy Spirit, who is both protector of the light and guide towards it. The goal of this retreat is to lead us to an encounter with Jesus and to impart to all the power of the Holy Spirit.
